yesterday was 07/07..Georgetown ,Penang celebrated World Heritage Day
wow...this is really amazing event...as a penang resident..until yesterday just realized
that in Penang..there were so mny historical places....
i saw mny tourists and residents all around the Georgetown
our first station was 姓氏桥。。。it like a small village on the sea...
infront n at the end of the bridge oso got chinese temple...
the life in here must be some sort of different...but they got old style saloon n mini market
inside the village...guess wat?? there oso got a house that give tourists live inside
that house outside seem simple but inside really nice design
our next station is a very nice building..but forget what's the name...
after gather there..we went for lunch..so we walk to find food
at last..we ate western food at Post Cafe...love the environment n design
after lunch..we rush back to meet them..cause we are the latest..
then..we went to Little India..whole street just left a few stores open
mny was been closed..maybe cause holiday....when stepped in there
i can smell india...just like step to the indian world....
after that..we went to a chinese temple call 观音亭
wow...the smoke almost covered my eyes..n it makes my eyes pain too
after that..we went to Mosque that's for Indian Muslim....is a quite big mosque
when step in there..we must control the action...must respect the Muslim's
the special things is..i really dun knw when a woman wan to step in mosque
then must covered up the hair..then just can step inside the mosque
so i oso covered my hair v a big scarf over my hair...
this is first time i did this..good experience..we walked around inside the mosque
really interesting...
after that..we walked to really old street that dunno what's the name
in that street got a old temple..after come out temple...we saw first chinese school
in penang...then when we come out frm that temple..we went visited
2 old shop that have lots of collections...this really make me shocked
there are so mny things that i had never saw before....
after that we had our own time again...about 3 hours..i think
so all of us went for our dinner...mny of them ate in the same kopitiam
but me n teddy dun wan eat in that kopitiam cause there only sell noodle
so..we took a ride of tricycle to nearer food court for our dinner
inside the food court quite nice n mny choices too...
after took our dinner..we ride tricycle back to the event place again
the event started at 5pm...there are so mny people there...we meet principle
at there too...v his wife....so we went to the Khoo company for night show
but we not really enjoy it much cause there are no chair for us sit
so we just walk around the events....there are so mny nyonya things been sell
besides..got lots of desserts ,foods,handcraft things....n a special things
that i never saw was...wash eyes...beside the road...how to wash eyes??
this already been stay for 20years...really amazing
because the time too rush..so we still got mny places not enough time to visit
but i really learned so much in this trip...really thanks lots for inviting me
